Greg Walden Discusses Coronavirus with  Jackson, Josephine County 

Holds town hall, roundtable, press conference on COVID-19 outbreak

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Representative Greg Walden (R-Hood River) spent the weekend speaking with residents and public health officials in Jackson and Josephine County about the Novel 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Walden held a town hall in Josephine County, where the main topic discussed at the town hall was the coronavirus, as well as Walden's efforts to expand rural broadband and help veterans. 

During the hearing, Walden updated the audience on what he knows and what he is doing to help prepare the community for the coronavirus. He was also joined by Michael Weber, Josephine County's Director of Public Health. The two both took questions from the audience on the topic.
