Dear Friends,

With an additional $310 billion in funding approved by Congress and signed into law by President Trump, the Treasury Department and the SBA announced yesterday that the SBA will resume accepting PPP loan applications on Monday, April 27 at 10:30 am EST/7:30 am PST. I encourage all approved lenders to resume processing applications submitted by eligible borrowers in anticipation of Monday morning’s program resumption. Likewise, I encourage all eligible borrowers who need a PPP loan to contact approved lenders as soon as possible. If you do not have a lender from previous business, use the SBA’s Find Eligible Lenders tool.

Separately, here’s an article detailing Fresno County’s push to receive additional Coronavirus testing support.

Finally, the Central California Blood Center is the first blood center in the nation to supply local and national hospitals with pathogen-reduced, convalescent plasma from recovered Coronavirus patients for patients currently combating Coronavirus.
