News from Representative Tom Emmer


Congressman Emmer met with representatives from the Alzheimer's Association ahead of Alzheimer's Awareness Day on November 8. The group discussed his support for the 21st Century Cures Act and more recent increases to National Institutes of Health funding.

Congressman Emmer visited students at Howard Lake Waverly Winsted High School in Howard Lake, MN to discuss how schools can equip them with the tools they need to succeed. 

Congressman Emmer spoke to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in memory of Judge Diana Murphy. Read here about the Congressman's' efforts to have the Federal Courthouse in Minneapolis renamed in honor of Judge Murphy.

Congressman Emmer visited The Lodge of Howard Lake Senior Center to hear from seniors in Howard Lake, MN. Emmer heard their concerns for keeping Medicare and Social Security solvent.
