Weekly Newsletter

This week, I was excited to announce one more way we’re planning to encourage ALL Nevadans to get their vaccine -- in addition to thanking those who’ve already gotten their shots.

At Allegiant Stadium, we launched “Vax Nevada Days!”  which was developed by my office, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with Immunize Nevada.

This incentive promotion will provide $5 million in cash and prizes for nearly 2,000 eligible Nevada residents who have been vaccinated!

During Vax Nevada Days, residents who have had at least one COVID-19 vaccine - including Nevadans who got their shots as soon as they were eligible - will be automatically entered into weekly drawings to win cash, post-secondary education savings plans, and other prizes.

Winners will be announced weekly every Thursday for 8 weeks beginning on July 8, 2021. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on August 26, 2021.

Learn more about the prizes, the rules and how to schedule your COVID-19 vaccine at VaxNevadaDays.org

Thank you,
Gov Sisolak

Since opening in 2016, Pinon Bottle has established itself as Nevada’s leading beer authority. They offer a full spectrum of beer styles, traditions, regions, and flavor possibilities, poured from an ever-changing selection of bottles, cans, and regularly rotated taps. Their meticulously curated beer program has everything from high-end, small-batch craft beer to Hamm’s –and they take pride in helping their customers find the perfect beverage.

“During the pandemic, it was very scary not knowing if we would be able to open our doors again after all was said and done, said Radium Sulprizio, owner of Pinon Bottle. “Thanks to the PETS grant, it has helped to alleviate some of that stress and made it a little easier to succeed through such trying times. I enjoy serving the public and being able to bring the community together over tasty craft beer and wine in a comfortable setting, that has been our goal from day one. Surviving this pandemic has taught us a lot while helping us grow, we are excited to be back serving the northern Nevada community a cold beer!”

  • Regulatory Board - Regulatory boards are those that oversee the licensing, handle complaints, and enforce disciplinary actions of individuals or industries that fall within the jurisdiction of the board’s authority.
  • Task Force - A task force is created for the purpose of accomplishing a definite objective and goal.
