This week, I joined Democrats and Republicans in Congress for a briefing on coronavirus in the Situation Room with Vice President Mike Pence. We must ensure the federal government provides necessary resources to address this disease. I voted for a funding bill to fight this disease, develop a vaccine, allocate testing kits to states, and support prevention measures. If you want information on coronavirus, please visit

Supporting the Great Lakes

This week, I met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to discuss issues impacting the Great Lakes, especially our shoreline communities. Lake Michigan is experiencing high water levels, affecting Racine, Kenosha, and Milwaukee counties. Shoreline erosion and recent flooding has resulted in $30 million in public infrastructure damage in Southeast Wisconsin. I am working to protect our communities and Great Lakes.

WATCH: I testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on the need to support Great Lakes programs.
