Dear Friend,

I am happy to announce that the Social Security Administration (SSA) redesigned their retirement benefits portal to improve user experience by making it more user-friendly to navigate. This is one of several steps that the SSA is taking to make it easier for individuals to receive their benefits.

To apply for retirement benefits and view the revamped portal, please click here. The SSA updated the retirement benefits portal to help people find and read about Social Security benefits with fewer pages and condensed, rewritten, and clearer information. In addition, the portal was recently optimized for mobile devices so that you can submit your application on your smartphone.

The Social Security Administration also recommends that you create a My Social Security account to access online services such as obtaining benefits, applying for retirement, disability, and Medicare benefits, or requesting a replacement Social Security card. You can click here to create your account.

If you would like to learn more about Social Security retirement benefits, please view the SSA’s page here. The SSA is planning to unveil more improvements to its website later this year. To receive the latest updates from the SSA, sign up for their email list by clicking here
