At the end of the day, our biggest ally, the most thriving democracy in the Middle East – Israel – they’re opposed to the Iran Nuclear Deal. Everyone I talk to, from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to his political opposition, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, are opposed to the deal. I went to Ramallah and visited with the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority. He doesn’t think it’s a good deal. Average, everyday citizens in Israel live with the threat each day and they know that one nuclear explosion could wipe out most if not all of the population. Watch the video

It was an honor Wednesday to present Lt. Cordy A. Ramer, Jr., of Fordyce with six awards and medals he earned during his service in World War II. During the war, he flew 29 combat missions over 175 flying hours before being shot down over enemy territory and becoming a prisoner of war by the Germans. On behalf of a thankful nation, I presented Lt. Ramer with the commendations he earned, where I was able to personally say, "Thank you."
