Dear Friend,
This week, federal agencies are developing guidance for businesses to begin receiving relief provided in the third coronavirus relief package, the CARES Act, that President Trump signed into law on Friday. I understand you are experiencing uncertainty at this time, especially as we prepare for these conditions to continue through April, and I will continue to be a resource to you with updated information and answers. In this email, I have included the latest information which is also available on Meuser.House.Gov/coronavirus.
- Paid Family Leave
- U.S. Department of Labor provided additional guidance for employers on offering paid leave to their employees.
- Small Business Relief
- Paycheck Protection Program
- Governor Wolf Non-Life Sustaining Business Order
If you have questions on any of these relief opportunities or about how coronavirus may affect your business, please join me tomorrow, Friday, April 3 at 2:00 pm, for a Business Leaders Conference Call where I will provide updates on relief efforts and answer your questions about the impact on our community businesses. Please see additional details about this event in the reminder at the top of this email.
If your business is continuing to operate, please be sure to practice social distancing and share these simple steps with your employees to slow the spread.
My office is here as a resource for you and your business during this challenging time. please contact us at (570) 871-6370 if we can be of assistance to you.
Sincerely,
