News from Representative Tom Emmer

Dear Friend,

Yesterday marked our first 100 days in office.

Representing the 6th District of Minnesota in Congress is truly an honor, and I sincerely thank you for the opportunity to serve.

Since day one, my staff and I have been transparent, accountable, and most importantly—accessible. I want to share with you a few highlights from our first 100 days:

I look forward to continuing to work for you and our district in Washington, D.C. If I can ever be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to contact our offices. Click here for more on the First 100 Days.

This Week
Now 101 days in, we are still going strong. This week I held several meetings with Minnesota groups, including Minnesota Grocers, Minnesota Beverage Association, North Metro Crossing Coalition, Hospitality Minnesota, Big 10 college students, St. Cloud Chamber, Minnesota Pork Producers, Minnesota Fire Chiefs, and many more.

I also had the great opportunity to take a group of constituents, including St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis and the St. Cloud Chamber, around the U.S. Capitol for a tour.

Ox in the Afternoon
In addition to the great meetings this week, I was also proud to continue a 6th District tradition. Just like Rep. Kennedy and Rep. Bachmann before me, I hosted Dan “Ox” Ochsner of St. Cloud’s KNSI for his annual D.C. broadcast.

Stationed in my office, he interviewed several of my colleagues—Congressmen Collin Peterson, John Kline, Erik Paulsen, Glenn Grothman, Patrick McHenry, Ted Yoho, Dave Brat, and Sean Duffy. It was great to have him here. Click here for more from his visit. If you missed the interviews, the podcast is available here.

Sincerely,
