ROANOKE, Va. (WSET)-- Representative Cline's health is in good condition despite two members of Congress testing positive for the coronavirus.

Like many, he is taking the precautions of social distancing and washing his hands. Cline is working to get legislation passed to help local businesses who may be struggling.

“We are working hard with the administration to develop a package for small businesses, including loan incentives so they can stay liquid. Liquidity is the key,” said Representative Cline.

Representative Cline says people can do their part by ordering take out from local businesses, while still complying with officials requests of social distancing. Cline ordered takeout from local Roanoke restaurant Thai Continental Cuisine. He says his message for the people is to remain serious but don’t panic.

“We’re going to get through this together as one nation. Stronger for it. And we’re going to do it by sticking together and working together to make it happen,” Representative Cline said.

Representive Cline said now is also a great time to get outside, to take a walk on your street, to get out of your home, but still practice social distancing.
