A Lancaster County business is helping families in need during the coronavirus crisis while supporting the struggling dairy industry.
Sensenig's Feed Mill in New Holland purchased thousands of gallons of milk from Clover Farms Dairy.
The milk will be given out for free Thursday and Friday.
"We have the ability to help people in need or help hungry kids or hungry families. Why shouldn't we do it?" Kyle Sensenig said.
"We're fortunate enough to be able to keep working through this. And for milk to be so valuable to some people, like, wow, we take so much for granted," said co-owner Mike Sensenig.
"It's twofold. We're helping the community, and we're helping the dairy farmers," said co-owner Karl Sensenig.
The milk giveaway runs until 3 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the M&T Bank next to the feed mill at 115 South Railroad Ave. in New Holland.
Milk will also be available to pick up from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
