The provisions included in the package passed today will make meaningful progress toward easing the burden on household budgets, and I will continue to advocate for policies that help the people I represent and help grow the economy.

I previously helped secure federal funding for the Countryman Estates project, and I am thrilled that West Tuality Habitat for Humanity is receiving this investment to help more Oregonians achieve home ownership.

Families in Oregon and across the country are struggling to afford child care and put a roof over their heads. We can help address both of these critical needs by investing in child care centers and home-based providers located in affordable housing to make it easier for families to find care where they live.
