The Harlem Renaissance-This class will teach the era of the Harlem Renaissance, diving into Black arts and culture
The Cotton Club-This class will explore black literature, black music, poetry and art and inspire young writers to create their own pieces.
The Freedom Riders-This class will teach the movement of the freedom riders and draw principles and lessons learned for this generation and era.
Separate but Equal-This class will explore the history of segregation and implications for today, with case analysis of Board vs education and others.
I have a Dream-This class will teach the works and era of Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.
Hip-Hop-This class will teach the history of Hip Hop culture and how it has positively impacted by the Black community.
