WECNYC is a community-based organization that aims to empower and build solidarity across communities of immigrant women from marginalized backgrounds in South Brooklyn.

We advocate for the rights of all New Yorkers

WECNYC played an integral role in working with Councilmember Tiffany Cabán to introduce legislation that will benefit survivors of domestic violence.

WECNYC testified at public hearings, joined rallies, mobilized our community through town halls, and community sessions, and helped community members draft testimonies in support of expanding language access.

The Secure Jobs NYC Campaign is a crucial movement that seeks to protect workers in New York City from unjust firings.

WECNYC organized to stop New York State and local government agencies from collaborating with ICE further putting undocumented immigrants at risk of imprisonment and or deportation.

The #18PercentAndGrowing Campaign is an essential initiative that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many vulnerable AAPI New Yorkers.

WECNYC  joined NYIC Press conferences, rallies, and held informational sessions about the proposed legislation.
