Rally for Our Schools on July 18: RSVP
Join school communities from around the City and New York City Council Members on the steps of Tweed Courthouse on Monday, July 18 at 10:00AM for a rally for our schools!

As he rammed through the FY23 budget, Mayor Adams lied about the depth of what is nearly ½ billion budget cuts to our schools. Principals are being forced to decide which teachers to excess, which art programs to eliminate, and which grades will face even larger class sizes. The city has the money, but the Mayor refuses to spend it. $4.3 billion of federal stimulus money allotted to the NYC Department of Education remains to be spent.

This is exactly the opposite of what our kids need as they emerge from the pandemic.

Join parents, teachers, advocates, and City Council Members as we say loud and clear: Mayor Adams must restore the funding by August 1. We must make ourselves too noisy to ignore.
