Kuster: The American People Deserve to See the Results of the Mueller Investigation
Washington, DC,
March 14, 2019
Today Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) joined her Democratic and Republican colleagues in the House of Representative in voting to express that the Mueller Report should be made public to the American people and Congress upon its completion. The resolution protects information prohibited from being released by law. The resolution passed 420-0. “The American people deserve to see the results of the Mueller investigation once it is completed, regardless of its conclusions,” said Kuster. “I’ve heard from people across New Hampshire about the intense interest in the outcome of Mr. Mueller’s probe and for the good of our democracy and confidence in the integrity of our institutions this report must be made public. We need more transparency in Washington, DC, and concealing the outcome of the Mueller investigation would be met with outrage by people throughout my district and the country. This bipartisan vote is a strong signal to the Attorney General that he should make the findings public upon the investigation’s conclusion.” ### |
