Harvest Table distributes free eggs and milk in Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A local food pantry is giving away thousands of free eggs and milk in Columbus County.

Harvest Table says they have more than 11,000 free eggs and milk to give away to the community and surrounding areas.

You can pick them up from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The pantry says this is a great opportunity for churches and other organizations to assist their communities as well.

If you are in need of transportation to Harvest Table, call Columbus County Transportation (910) 642-7201. Fare is $3.00 per way in Whiteville and Brunswick townships. Fare is $10.00 per way for all other locations in Columbus County.

Harvest Table is located at 211 East Columbus Street in Whiteville.

Also, the Kingston Lake Education and Business Center located at 3410 Church Street in Loris, SC gives away food for free on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. primarily to residents of Columbus County and Horry County, SC.
