Southport man leaving to join Navy gets special sendoff

SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) - A Southport man got quite the sendoff Sunday as he prepares to leave to help defend our country.
Riley James Schweppe is leaving Monday to join the Navy.
On Sunday, several friends and neighbors paraded down the streets of the South Harbour Village community to wish him well!
Riley is the son of Jim and Jill Schweppe.
