Supporting Lung Cancer Research Through Fitness
A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Duluth 5K
A Minnesota foundation is supporting lung cancer research and fitness at the same time.
A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation is hosting its first-ever run/walk 5k in Duluth.
A similar event has been held in the Twin Cities for years.
The foundation is adding this to the Northland after Representative Rick Nolan’s daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She’s a nonsmoking, 41-year-old wife and mother of four.
Proceeds from this event go toward researching the deadly cancer.
The run/walk is taking place Saturday, September 24 at 8 a.m. at Brighton Beach.
