May 23, 2019

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01), Chairman of the Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee, announced the endorsement by the Congressional Progressive Caucus of his landmark proposal, the Social Security 2100 Act, which will enhance Social Security benefits and strengthen the Trust Fund to ensure all benefits will be paid in full.

"The Social Security 2100 Act would not only strengthen Social Security so that it can pay full benefits beyond the year 2100, but it also offers significant benefit enhancements. I am proud to announce today's endorsement, and thank Chairs Mark Pocan and Pramila Jayapal for their leadership," said Larson.
