WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Scott Peters (CA-52) brought together San Diego leaders and Washington policy makers to discuss the innovative ways San Diego is leading the country. The discussions were held in conjunction with this week’s San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce trip to Washington.

“San Diego is renowned as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and bipartisan problem-solving – a fact on true display at today’s events,” Rep. Peters said. “It’s that type of solutions-first culture that is needed in Washington, D.C., and I’m proud to highlight the amazing work that is being done in our region. Between finding new ways to deliver healthcare, dynamic methods of serving our veterans and ending veterans’ homelessness, and engaging diverse ideas for a sustainable water future, there is much Washington can learn from a forward-thinking place like San Diego.”
