Congressman Darrell Issa invites residents of California’s 49th District to attend an in-person town hall meeting to discuss health care reform, local legislative priorities and other important issues. It’s an opportunity to interact directly with your Member of Congress, share input, and ask questions of critical priority to San Diego and Orange Counties.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 9:00AM at the San Juan Hills High School Theatre.

A small number spots will be available at the door to accommodate those with disabilities, special needs, or those without internet access, but to guarantee you will have space, please register in advance.

Congressman Issa looks forward to hearing your concerns, answering your questions and taking the time to speak with all of you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What can I bring with me to the event?

To enable a productive dialogue, attendees may not bring signs, speakers, megaphones, air horns or other items that would impede other attendees ability to listen to, have questions answered or otherwise participate in the event.

What can I expect during the event?

The event will last roughly an hour. Doors will open 30 minutes in advance. Attendees are asked to bring printed or digital copies of their reservation to ensure admittance. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask Congressman Issa questions, and he will have the opportunity to hear directly from the community in a large venue format. If you are unable to be seated, we will also do our best to take questions from our Facebook and Twitter audiences if time allows. The event will also be livestreamed online.

What does parking look like? Should I take public transportation?

A limited number of parking spaces are available first-come, first served basis. Due to the limited space, attendees are encouraged to carpool, ride-share, or take public transportation.

I can’t make it Saturday! What can I do?

If you can’t make it Saturday, then you’re in luck! We’ll be livestreaming the event online through Facebook Live. Be sure to like and follow us on Facebook at Facebook.com/DarrellIssa and then tune in right as each session kicks off. We will do our best to take a few questions from social media participants if time allows.
