ObamaCare Increases Costs for Two-Thirds of Small Businesses
‘As the full weight of ObamaCare comes crashing down on small businesses, another 11 million Americans will be squeezed or even crushed beneath its exorbitant costs’

Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) issued the following statement in response to a report released by the non-partisan Office of the Chief Actuary at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which stated that two-thirds of individuals employed at small businesses will see their premiums rise due to ObamaCare:

“As the full weight of ObamaCare comes crashing down on small businesses, another 11 million Americans will be squeezed or even crushed beneath its exorbitant costs. Small businesses already have to absorb almost $11,000 per employee annually just to comply with government regulations. Nothing is affordable about ObamaCare and these new financial burdens will further stifle job creation and economic growth, as small businesses create approximately 7 out of every 10 new jobs. This is totally unacceptable and completely unfair to the hardworking individuals and families who, thanks to ObamaCare, will take home less of their hard-earned money. They don’t deserve to see their paychecks sliced and diced by an unworkable, unwanted and unaffordable health care law. I call on my colleagues to repeal and replace this law with a free-market, patient-centered alternative like the American Health Care Reform Act.”
