Westerman Applauds Passage of Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act

WASHINGTON – Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04) issued the following statement after Monday's (September 28) passage of the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act of 2015, H.R. 313:

"Legislation like the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act is an example of what Congress can accomplish when we work together," Westerman said. "This bill provides veterans the benefits necessary to continue recovering from their service-related injuries and I was proud the House supported our heroes."

H.R. 313 was introduced by Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (D-Massachusetts) and was co-sponsored by 33 House Members, including six Republicans.
