The Office of Governor Sisolak is proud to recognize the incredible accomplishments of its citizens through a Certificate of Recognition. Nevada residents and organizations may request a Certificate of Recognition to recognize a person, organization or special cause. Due to the high volume of requests, we recommend that your request be sent at least two weeks in advance of the recognition date. All certificates issued by the Governor's Office are honorary and not legally binding. Certificate requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the Governor's Office reserves the right to deny any request for any reason.
Certificates of Recognition are available for the following occasions:- Military Retirement- Business Grand Opening- Academic Achievements- Police and Fire Retirement- Retirement of state and private sector employees- Award Recipients- Athletic Achievements- Graduations- Milestone Birthdays - AnniversariesIf you are requesting more than one certificate, please be ready to provide the following information in an excel document: Title, Name, Award/Type of Recognition and any additional necessary information.
Honoree information must be received with each certificate request. If you have more than one honoree, please upload an excel document with the following information: Title, Name, Award/Type of Recognition and any additional necessary information. If you fail to submit honoree information, your request WILL NOT be processed.
Draft language: Provide two to three sentences to be included on the certificate. Please note draft language may be modified or rewritten at the discretion of the Governor's office.
